As President of DCI, Barbara Herndon oversees the firm's management operations for the South Florida region. She is responsible for her division's two offices - located in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale. Ms. Herndon is a veteran community manager who has long been active in community management in Texas, Colorado and California. She is a skilled professional who is known for her enthusiasm and expertise. She is experienced in all phases of commercial property management, including office buildings, office service centers, shopping centers, industrial warehouses, as well as resort property management and community associations.

Ms. Herndon holds the following professional designations: Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) and Association Management Specialist (AMS) awarded by Community Associations Institute, Certified Property Manager (CPM) awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management and Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) awarded by the National Board of Certification for Community Association Managers (NBC-CAM). Ms. Herndon stays actively involved in both the Community Association Institute and the Institute of Real Estate Management. She most recently served as the Vice-President for the Fort Worth Chapter of IREM.

A graduate of the University of West Florida, Ms. Herndon has always been involved in the community management industry and has held the positions of Presdient of ProComm in San Antonio, Regional Vice President of Principal Management Group's Arlington/Ft. Worth office, Vice President of Property Management for Central Management, Inc. and Corporate Property Manager for Wells Fargo Bank.
