LINDA A. BARTEL, AMS®, LSM®, PCAM®, serves as Senior Vice-President for Principal Management Group of Houston.

Having worked with developers and builders in the industry for nearly eighteen years, Ms. Bartel-McGinnis' skills and expertise encompass all aspects of residential real estate, from development and construction of large master planned communities, to the management of luxury single family neighborhoods, commercial, condominium and townhome communities. She has specific expertise in the sometimes complex process of transitioning associations from developer to homeowners control, extensive knowledge in establishing and amending governing documents for newly developed and established communities, budget and reserve preparation, establishing architectural guidelines, overseeing maintenance and administrative personnel, all aspects of accounting, and amenity installation and maintenance.

In July of 2002, the Community Association Institute (CAI) approved Ms. Bartel-McGinnis as an Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®). The PCAM designation is the highest professional recognition available nationwide to managers who specialize in community associations.

In August of 2005, the Community Association Institute (CAI) awarded Ms. Bartel-McGinnis the Large Scale Manager (LSM®) designation. LSM designees have extensive experience in the unique aspects of large-scale community management. Ms. Bartel is one of only 29 managers nationwide who have earned this specialized level of professional recognition in the community association field.

Ms. Bartel-McGinnis wrote the feature article in the May/June 2004 issue of the Community Association Institute's national magazine “Common Ground” on fiduciary duty and is teaching the Community Association Institute's M-100 at the National level.
