Mike Packard | ||
Mike Packard is a graduate of General HH Arnold High School, Wiesbaden Germany. He received a BA from New Mexico State University, where he served as Senior Class President and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Mike served in the US Air Force rising to the rank of Captain. He received the Bronze Star Medal for service as an Air Commando during the Viet Nam conflict. Mike has spent over 30 years in the Community Association Management industry as a Senior Executive. He was one of the first 20 recipients of the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation and also holds the Certified Property Manager (CPM) and Certified California Association Manager (CCAM) designations. He holds a Nevada Certified Association Manager (CAM) certificate and a California Brokers license. Mike is a former National President of CAI and its Research Foundation. He is also a former President of San Diego's CAI and Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Chapters. He is a recipient of CAI National's Distinguished Service award, IREM's Presidential Achievement award and IREM San Diego's Manager of the Year award. Mike is an instructor for CAI, IREM and CACM. Additionally, he has taught property management internationally in Russia, Poland, Japan, Australia and Canada. He and his wife Jeri, two horses, cat and dog live in Carlsbad California.
