Sherrill Schafer, President, has twenty years experience in the field of community management and has obtained her Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM) designation. In order to receive the PCAM designation she attended more than 60 hours of formal classroom study of law, communications, operations, and asset protection. A minimum of five years' work experience in community association management and completion of a case study that puts knowledge learned in the classroom into practice is also required.

From 1995 to 2002, Ms. Schafer successfully owned and operated TEAM Community Management. In order to provide her clients and staff with a greater level of insurance, educational, and personnel benefits, Ms. Schafer sold her company to Associa, the parent company of Alliance Association Management. She continued with the company in the role of Vice President. In this role she oversaw a portfolio of associations, a manager staff, and headed up the Development Division - a division designed to meet the needs of associations under developer control or in the building stage.
